CentOS is a community-supported, mainly free software operating system based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). It exists to provide a free enterprise class computing platform and strives to maintain 100% binary compatibility with its upstream distribution.[1] CentOS stands for Community ENTerprise Operating System.
CentOS is the most popular Linux distribution for web servers[2] and the only community-supported linux distro listed in top500.org.

Target
CentOS v5u1 x86_64 and i386 el5.1 builds for LIO Target are available. These 2.9.0.209 builds have been running stable using LVM and MD RAID SATA and are providing LIO cluster services.
There are also older versions of LIO builds for CentOS 5 and 4 (el5) (el4).
Initiator
The Open-iSCSI Initiator comes pre-installed on CentOS 5.
